FRANKFORT, Ky. (November 22, 2022) Artemis I blasted to the Moon on November 16. This historic launch takes us back to the Moon, this time to stay. It marks a major pivot point within the industry and sparks a major movement in the space industry. Kentucky is a part of this important moment.

Space For Kentucky Roundtable is an opportunity for companies and individuals to come together to bring a slice of the space economy to Kentucky. Enjoy speakers, networking, and other events. 

The space industry is exploding at an unprecedented rate. It is estimated to be close to a trillion-dollar industry by the end of the decade. As cost-for-entry continues to decline, more opportunities are opened for companies to venture beyond the atmosphere!

The next meeting focuses on space leaders in Kentucky. Our special guests this month are Twyman Clements, CEO of Space Tango, and Gen. Rob Givens, State Director for Kentucky.

Space Tango’s is headquartered in Lexington, KY. Their mission is to manufacture health and technology products in space that create value and transformational solutions. One of the projects is with partners, LambdaVision, Inc. is developing artificial retinas aimed to restore meaningful vision for patients who are blind or have lost significant sight due to advanced retinal degenerative diseases. 

Gen. Rob Givens, State Director for U.S. Senator Rand Paul, is a major champion for bringing the space industry to Kentucky.

The Space for Kentucky Roundtable is a monthly meeting about bringing the space industry to Kentucky. It is about networking, education, and social support for those that are reaching for the stars.
